Admin, I ended up buying from John Lewis as they have pre-orders for the 10th October.
Again, shame I cannot donate to the site as this is a really cool site and helped a lot.

Hope this helps, here is what the situation was like in the first week of iPhone 15 sales (last years)
iPhone 15: next-day delivery available
iPhone 15 Plus: delivery up to two weeks
iPhone 15 Pro: 'Order by midnight for free next-working-day home delivery'
iPhone 15 Pro Max: A wait of up to four weeks for delivery

Onto my question - for anyone really, I am very new to the whole waiting for iPhones to come back in stock, and I couldn't preorder as I wanted to do Amazon monthly payments (you could only preorder with Barclays payments.)
How long does it usually take for Amazon to come back into stock, are we talking weeks or days?
It's likely to be more like months before there is a decent supply. Of course there will be restocking before this, but the quantities will be small and they will sell out rapidly so you will need to be mega quick.
